Also launches the AEON CNY 2018 campaign with abundance of gifts for shoppers

Cheras Selatan, 16 January 2018 The festivities continue with AEON CO. (M) BHD. as they presented the prizes to the winners of AEON 33rd Anniversary's "Spot & Win” contest together with their main sponsor, VISA Malaysia.

"The AEON 33rd Anniversary "Spot & Win" contest was a great success. The amount of submissions were overwhelming where the number of participation increased from last year especially the online submissions and we are glad that our loyal customers had fun participating in the activities which were planned for them,” said Mr. Poh Ying Loo, AEON Executive Director.

The "Spot & Win" contest was held from 24 August to 22 October 2017 to commemorate the 33rd Anniversary of AEON. It was easy to participate; all shoppers needed to do were to spend a minimum amount at any AEON Store with their VISA Card, fill in the contest form and drop the contest form along with the receipt as proof of purchase into the designated contest boxes. While a few lucky winners walked away with Sharp 60" Smart LED TV, iPhone 7, AEON MEMBER Points, & AEON Gift Vouchers, Ms Lai Thin Theen proved to be the biggest victor of the night as she scored 33,000 AEON MEMBER points, RM3,300 AEON Gift Vouchers and was handed the keys to a brand new Honda BRV.

"I believe the winners are happy with their prizes, together with value-added shopping at AEON with the AEON Gift Vouchers. The contest main sponsor, Visa has been a strong and key partner for AEON and I would like to thank them for their support over the years," said Mr. Poh Ying Loo. In addition to the prize giving ceremony, the event held at AEON Cheras Selatan also doubled as the launch of AEON’s 2018 Chinese New Year campaign. "With the upcoming Lunar New Year, we hope that the year will bring everyone prosperity", elaborated Mr. Poh during the announcement of exciting activities and promotions that was planned in conjunction with the Year of the Dog.

The campaign will be filled with amazing promotions such as the AEON Sale that is held in conjunction with the Chinese New Year celebrations from 19 January till 18 February 2018 with storewide discounts of up to 70%. There are also a variety of festive hampers for AEON shoppers to choose from.

AEON MEMBERS will be able to purchase the adorable AEON Wang Buddy plush toy with every purchase of RM30 & above in a single or combination of two receipts at any AEON Stores nationwide. AEON Members will also receive Free Prosperous Reusable Shopping Bag (limited to 1 bag per receipt) with purchase of RM300 (excluding GST) and above in a single receipt at any AEON General Merchandise Store (GMS) from 19 January 2018 onwards.

For AEON MEMBER Card holders who are planning to renew their membership or those planning to sign up for exclusive rewards with AEON should also take this opportunity to do so now as AEON is offering its limited edition AEON MEMBER Chinese New Year Card. Sign up or renew for three years for only RM24 (savings of RM12) and get 300 AEON MEMBER points.

Fans of social media should participate in the Video Contest on Facebook where more than RM10,000 AEON Gift Vouchers to be won by guessing the correct words from 15 Jan to 16 Feb 2018.

Apart from the festive promotions at the AEON Stores, shoppers at AEON Mall can also redeem pretty angpow packets with a minimum spend of RM180 at all AEON MALL from 23 January 2018 onwards or be the owner of pretty vintage tiffin carrier with a minimum spend of RM280 for 14cm Tiffin Carrier / RM380 for 16cm Tiffin Carrier at selected AEON MALL from 26 January 2018 onwards.
