The "Spend & Win" contest was held from 8 September to 20 October 2016 to commemorate the 32nd Anniversary of AEON. The contest gave shoppers a chance to win one of the seven Japan travel packages as well as Canon cameras and AEON Gift Vouchers and 32 consolation prizes of RM300 AEON Gift Vouchers and 500 AEON MEMBER Points, all totalling worth RM130,000. It was easy to participate; all shoppers needed to do were to spend a minimum amount at any AEON Store with their VISA Card, fill in the contest form and drop the contest form along with the receipt as a proof to purchase into the designated contest boxes.
The Grand Prize winner of the contest was Mr. Thean Tat Ying, who will be travelling to Japan with a RM20,000 travel voucher, capturing beautiful memories with his brand-new Canon EOS 80D C/W EFS, more memorable shopping at AEON with RM1,000 worth of AEON Gift Vouchers and 10,000 AEON MEMBER Points. Six other lucky participants to Japan also received their prizes today from Mr. Poh Ying Loo, AEON Executive Director and Mr. Ng Kong Boon, Country Manager Visa Malaysia.
