AEON TASTE NEW ZEALAND 2015

Petaling Jaya, 16th April 2015 – It’s time for more food adventures and Malaysian discover more with AEON Taste New Zealand 2015.

New Zealand is a world leader in premium quality, delicious and safe food and beverage products. It is the largest exporter in the world for dairy products and lamb, and a major exporter of beef, kiwifruit, apples, seafood and wine.

This year, shoppers will get to enjoy more New Zealand products like Talley’s half-shell green lipped mussels, Hubbard’s cereals, Farmer’s Mill gluten free baking products and an iconic New Zealand sweet treat, Whittaker’s chocolate.

New Zealand products will be showcased at selected AEON supermarkets from 16th April 2015 to 29th April 2015.

“Many Malaysians are already familiar with New Zealand dairy products such as kiwifruit, milk powder and Greenshell mussels. This year, we would like to introduce more New Zealand products like Tatua dairy, Hubbard’s cereal; Whittaker’s chocolate, Farmer’s Mill baking products, Organic Apple cider vinegar, Crofters cheesecake and smoked mussels. Malaysians can now enjoy an even greater assortment of New Zealand products at AEON supermarkets,” says Hiroko Yamada, Assistant General Manager of Foodline Merchandising Division, AEON Co. (M) Bhd.

Fonterra, the largest dairy product producer from New Zealand is also supporting this event by going all out with attractive promotions on its well-loved and trusted brands – Anlene, Fernleaf, Anmum Materna, Essential, & Lacta, Solivite, Calciyum, Chesdale and Mainland cheese range.

During this food fair, Anlene™, Fonterra’s popular hi-calcium dairy brand will also be featuring its milk and yoghurt products. Anlene milk powder contains FOS-Inulin, an ingredient scientifically proven to help increase calcium absorption for stronger bones.

At AEON Taste New Zealand, shoppers can enjoy all the great taste, but without gluten - Hubbard’s Gluten Free Muesli and Farmers Mill gluten-free premixed baking products are now available in Malaysia. Farmer’s Mill gluten free products are manufactured to the highest food safety standards in dedicated Gluten Free and Dairy Free premises. All Farmers Mill and Well & Good Gluten Free products are endorsed by Coeliac New Zealand.

For chocolate lovers, you shouldn’t miss Malaysia’ biggest range of Whittaker’s Chocolate, New Zealand’s most beloved food brand. At AEON Taste New Zealand, shoppers can treat themselves with interesting flavours like dark peppermint, peanut butter, macadamia, and almond gold.

All products at Taste New Zealand are certified halal. The food fair is part of a series of initiatives, promoting products and services from New Zealand, organised by the New Zealand Trade and Enterprise.

AEON Taste New Zealand will be promoting “Shop & Redeem” campaign. Purchase RM100 worth of New Zealand products and redeem AEON RM10 cash voucher. First-come first serve basis, at selected AEON stores.
